Update Your Ping List To Instantly Create 100's of Quality Backlinks [ October 17th, 2008 ] Posted in » Search Engine Optimization

Link building is a key ingredient in achieving high search engine rankings and driving tons of traffic to your website.

If you have a WordPress blog, one of the easiest ways to create quality backlinks is with your ping list, also known as your RSS update service.

All WordPress blogs are preset to submit new posts to multiple RSS directories in the form of an excerpt of your content along with a backlink.

This means that every time you publish a post, you instantly create new backlinks.

That's why I was excited to come across an excellent list of 71 update services in a new "Link Building System" ebook from Sam Clark of the Authority Site Center.

I'm going to share this ping list with you, all you have to do is cut and paste it.

Mike Filsaime Hires Jack Humphrey for Social Marketing Campaign

I subscribe to one of Mike Filsaime's mailing lists so I can keep track of what this internet marketing maven is up to.

So I was pleasantly surprised when I read an email from Mike today saying that he has hired Jack Humphrey to consult on a project he is working on.

I have been a member of Jack's Authority Site Center for the last 8 months and subscribe to Jack's blog, "The Friday Traffic Report."

My experience is that Jack and his team deliver amazing content with integrity and great support.

Offline Advertising: The Next 'Big Thing' in Internet Marketing?

Russell Brunson has just released a new free ebook on internet marketing called "The IM Myth" (Internet Marketing Myth).

In case you haven't heard about Russell, he is a talented internet marketer and recently was the #2 affiliate for The 7 Figure Code by Mike Filsaime.

The IM Myth according to Russell is this: internet marketing is a business. The internet is not a business. The internet is a type of media (just like radio and TV) that can be used to generate leads VERY quickly for your business.

The bottom line is that if you combine offline advertising strategies with online strategies, you can generate more leads and grow your business much faster.

For example, Russell's report includes some great ideas for direct mail pieces and makes use of real-world examples.

You can also make money with this free report: Russell is giving me and anyone that refers the report away a $1 for a referral and $0.50 on the second level.

So if you signed up a person with a big list, and they got 500 people, you would make:

$1 - for your 1 referral

500 x $0.50 = $250

Total = $251

This report should be of special interest to anyone involved in internet marketing today.
