Visualization: See It, Believe It, Receive It

Think about something that you really want to achieve in your life.

Whether it’s more money, freedom, peace and joy, or deeper and more meaningful relationships, if you can create the image in your mind as already having and enjoying these things, you will be much more likely to bring them into your life.

That is the essence of .

Most of us who have read self-improvement books have come across this concept often. It is nothing new.

As a matter of fact, as pointed out in “The Secret”, we find the roots of visualization in the Bible:

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive it, and you will”.

– Matthew 11:24

Here is a simple yet extremely effective visualizations process that works:

1. Lie down on your back in a quiet place where you will NOT be distracted for about 15 minutes.

2. Close your eyes, relax, and breathe deeply through your nose.

Try to become aware only of your breath. Do this for a couple of minutes, until you feel very relaxed.

3. Bring into your awareness one of the greatest moments of your life, a moment where you felt ecstatic, joyous, loving, and grateful.

Really FEEL what that moment was like. Enjoy it!

4. Now picture yourself enjoying what you want to bring into your life as having already happened.

See yourself with your dream partner, in your new house, or traveling to exotic places.

Use all your senses – sights, smells, everything.

Really feel yourself enjoying what you want in the here and now.

5. Give thanks to God, the Universe, or whatever works for you.

Be very grateful. Gratitude is powerful.

It is best to practice this exercise twice a day. First thing in the morning and right before bedtime would be best. As with many things, being persistent and consistent are key.

This technique will help you to unleash the tremendous creative power that you possess.

Enjoy the process, work at it, expect results and you will be amazed.
