7 Ways to Fail at Network Marketing
Do This and Nobody Will Join Your Business
The descriptions here may seem a little harsh, but the loss of time, money, and hope from being unsuccessful at network marketing is harsher.
- Not knowing who your prospects are.
Just because someone has a pulse, it doesn’t make them a prospect for your .
Tip: Your best prospects are current network marketers.
- Make a list of 100 people you know.
If anyone recommends this as a marketing strategy nowadays, they should be shot.
- Cold calling “lead” lists.
Cold calling sucks! I’d rather slit my wrists than cold call. Period.
- Cold calling mlm genealogy lists.
If you’re doing this, frustrated, but want to keep plugging away at it, call me and I’ll come over and slit your wrists for you.
- Advertising your opportunity.
Your best prospects are current network marketers. They are already involved in an opportunity. They need someone to help them avoid the above mistakes.
- Selling your opportunity.
People don’t want to be sold. They want to be referred to an opportunity by someone they know and trust. Someone they perceive can help them.
- Paying for your marketing without a strategy to offset your costs.
You need to attract to you by offering them tools to help them in their business.
Some of these tools can be a report, teleseminar, or course that you charge a small fee for.
The income from these small fees should significantly reduce your cost of acquiring leads. This is called a “funded proposal”.
What you need to do.
You need to look at a system that offers you the ability to provide tools for current network marketers and has a funded proposal.
