Affordable Blog Hosting With a Personal Touch
This blog was originally hosted by the Authority Site Center, a membership site I belong to that helps me tremendously when it comes to blogging and social marketing.
When the Authority Site Center decided to get out of the hosting business so that they could focus on developing new blogging tools and software to assist their members in driving traffic to their blogs, I had to choose a new blog hosting company.
Fortunately, David Olsen, an Authority Site Center trainer, launched a hosting service specializing in WordPress blogs, and it was an easy decision for me to host my blog with Dave.
Dave had helped me considerably when I first started blogging. He created a series of some of the best Camtasia videos on installing and configuring WordPress plugins and other related topics that I simply could not have done without.

My company uses a combination of Blogger and cheap hosting from GoDaddy. I have always liked Blogger because it is owned by Google. Does this give your blog a better shot at search engine rankings? Maybe, maybe not, but it can't hurt, and the Blogger platform is quite easy and robust in my opinion. There is a bug in the Blogger system where sometimes the process of publishing to an externally hosted domain just doesn't work. It works for us, but I have seen sites where that is not the case.
