7 Top Blogs I Read and Subscribe To
I don't subscribe to as many blogs as I used to, mainly to control information overload and manage my time more effectively.
I have a "short-list" of blogs that I read to keep me informed on blogging, internet marketing, and social marketing.
Here is a list of my 7 top blogs.
This list is in no particular order and I readily admit that there are many great blogs that are not included here.
My 7 Top Blogs
Jack Humphrey's blog will keep you informed on the latest and greatest social marketing and blogging resources and strategies, focusing on driving traffic to your blog.
I love Jack's no-nonsense style of writing, his enthusiasm, and his commitment to provide exceptional value to his readers.
I am also a very satisfied member of Jack's membership site, the Authority Site Center.
2. Copyblogger
Brian Clark's blog has in my mind set the standard for providing useful resources for bloggers and consistently providing content that is relevant, entertaining, and readable.
The best tips on how to write headlines, landing pages, conduct keyword research, and much more, are all available at Copyblogger, for free!
If you want to become a better blogger and create content that gets noticed, I suggest subscribing to Copyblogger and studying how the posts on this site are written and formatted.
Daniel Scocco consistently provides useful information about blogging, from creating web site content and social media, to techie issues.
His posts are usually fairly short, easy to read, and he keeps you informed of current issues and resources that will help you become a better blogger.
4. Dosh Dosh
Although it's not a surprise to find Maki's blog on a "top blogs" list, I have included it because Maki lives up to a challenging mandate: to provide fresh, original content that is thought-provoking and informative.
Maki is an insightful, intelligent writer and Dosh Dosh is a must-read for bloggers, online entrpreneurs, and internet marketers.
5. chrisg.com
Chris Garrett's blog about the business of blogging and new media is simply a fantastic resource for anyone involved in content development, social media, and blog marketing.
Chris' posts tend be be short, succint, and get right to the point.
He recently published a series of posts on "Email Marketing for Bloggers" that is ground-breaking because it is the most in-depth look at email marketing from a blogger's perspective.
Great content!
6. Court's Internet Marketing School
Courtney Tuttle's blog is my personal favorite in the "make money online" niche. His posts are written in a down-to-earth and practical format that are not only easy to read, but easy to learn from as well.
This is another blog that is loaded with great content, much of which is focused on how to optimize your blog to make money. His area of expertise is creating money-making Adsense blogs.
Court has also provided lots of resources and helpful "how-to" videos for beginners.
7. Internet Marketing With Josh Spaulding
You may be a little surprised to see Josh's blog listed here, as it may not be as well known as the blogs listed above.
However, I have included it for a very good reason: Josh has done extremely well online with article marketing, an internet marketing strategy that I am currently learning and beginning to apply.
Josh writes in an honest, up-front style that is both refreshing and revealing.
If you are interested in making money online, I suggest subsribing to this blog because Josh writes very openly about his marketing strategies.
One main reason that I list these blogs as my favorites is this: the owners of each of these blogs has injected their personality into their site and their posts.
Even though I have never met any of these individuals personally, I really feel like I know them.
This in itself is a valuable lesson. Thank you all!

Dear Mark,
Thank you for the concise list.
In the process of subscribing/unsubscribing it's so easy to load your mailbox with JUNK.
I have to agree with your list completely (I too enjoy Josh Spaulding) and I have some copywriting blogs that I wouldn't miss as well.
I can heartily recommend Clayton Makepeace, Ted Nicholas and Trevor Crook, in addition to the usual ones.
Have a great day!

@ Brennan - Thanks! I've read some of Clayton's material and he is another excellent source for copywriting, as is Michel Fortin.
So many blogs, so little time….
I will check out Trevor and ted though, thanks for the heads up.
