Authority Bloggers are Attraction Marketing Experts
One of the best ways to see the principles of attraction marketing in action is to read authority blogs.
Just look at your reactions and feelings after you read a great post by an influential blogger.
If you're like me, you find yourself thinking:
- "Wow, that's a great idea, I'm going to try it."
- "I want more, I'll subscribe to the RSS feed."
- "I wish I could write like that."
- "How does the author keep coming up with this awesome content?"
That's the difference between reading something interesting, compelling, and useful as opposed to just another blurb hyping a product or service.
It's also the reason why attraction marketing is so important as a long-term strategy for all internet marketers.
Now, the authors of these "A-List" blogs may have more technical and analytical skills than the average person on the internet these days.
Probably way more.
However, the foundation of their influence still lies in their message.
Read what Chris Garrett , who has been credited with coining the phrase "authority blog", says about this:
"It’s not enough just to do linkbait or SEO tricks, you have to attract the right people and delight them with your content so they subscribe and come back. Here you actually need to get to know your audience and what they like. You have to treat them as individuals rather than a herd of potential ad-clickers."
A great explanation of attraction marketing from a respected and sought-after authority blogger.
After all, Chris is an authority on, you guessed it, authority blogs.

Nice post!
We’ve been doing humor hook linkbait on the web since 1995 at Zug.com
It would be great to get your feedback on the comedy linkbait angle!
