3 Internet Marketing Trends for 2008

What are some hot trends to look for in the internet marketing world as we move into 2008?

Michael Fortin recently posted  a compelling article on 3 hot trends to watch out for.

If you are unfamiliar with Michael, he is one of the top direct response copywriters and has been involved in some of the most wildly successful marketing campaigns online.

So his thoughts on internet marketing trends are well worth considering.

You can read the whole article here.

This is what I found interesting:

Michael began to notice that the usual crowd of "big name" marketers at internet marketing seminars was thinning. Further, these seminars are being attended by more and more newcomers.

Newcomers who asked Michael surprising questions such as:

"What is an autoresponder?" and:

"How do you create a text file?"

Michael feels, and with good reason, that internet marketing is currently going through a "shift" or "correction" and is becoming more mainstream.

Is this good news for internet marketers?

You better believe it.

The mainstream market is huge.

The products and services that you as an internet marketer offer will be more in demand.

The 3 Hot Internet Marketing Trends

1. The "newbie" market.

2. The offline market.

3.The Asian market.

For me, I am going to focus on the "newbie" market.

My goal is to serve this market by helping them with internet marketing strategies that will help them make money online.

What about you?

As Michael says:

"Watch out for these markets. Enter them. Serve them. Or get out of the way."

Yes ~ the key here is to give as much advice as possible to gain respect. If you have a decent product, teach others how to use it.
